BOWIE, Md. Tire recycling executive is a new member of the Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee in the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Richard Dick Gust joins the committee as president of national account sales and director of government affairs for Liberty Tire Recycling L.L.C. of Pittsburgh, the nation s largest tire recycling company.
Gust also is a former Tire Industry Association president and current chair of the association s Environmental Advisory Council.
Gust began his new position on May 7, and his appointment is scheduled to run until Aug. 16, 2022, when the committee s current charter expires, TIA said. ....

BOWIE, Md. Tire recycling executive Richard Dick Gust is a new member of the Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee in the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Mr. Gust, president of national account sales and director of government affairs for Liberty Tire Recycling L.L.C. of Pittsburgh, began his new position on May 7. His appointment is scheduled to run until Aug. 16, 2022, when the committee s current charter expires, TIA said.
Mr. Gust is a former Tire Industry Association (TIA) president and current chair of the association s Environmental Advisory Council.
Dick s appointment recognizes his distinguished work and leadership in the domestic and international waste tire recycling and reuse segments, TIA CEO Roy Littlefield said in a statement. ....
