Arizona s number of identified COVID-19 cases has reached 857,347 (up 896 from the day before), and the number of deaths increased by 17 to 17,238.

Arizonans could again be getting the single-dose Johnson & Johnson shot after two federal agencies lifted a recommended pause to review safety concerns, The Republic s Stephanie Innes reports.
“After recommending a pause out of an abundance of caution, we join our federal partners in encouraging everyone to get vaccinated against COVID-19 with the vaccine available to you,” the state s top public health official, Dr. Cara Christ, said in a statement. ....
