Wayne County Deputies responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident on IL64. 23-year- old Allen Hempensones of Mt. Vernon was traveling along Interstate 64 near mile marker 106 when for unknown reasons he left the roadway, striking a guard rail, and popping a tire. There were no injuries. Wayne County responded to the scene of a car vs. deer collision. 39-year-old Fairfield resident Ryan Sagar was traveling westbound on IL Hwy 15 near Co. Rd 1400E when a deer ran into the roadway.
