THE family of Bury's Colonel Eric W. Davidson MBE have paid tribute to him, describing him a 'legend' and one whose legacy will continue.

Though the Ramones exhibition at the Queens Museum in 2016 gained Marc Miller a wider audience, he was instrumental in framing the punk scene as an total art movement, organizing a seminal Punk Art Show in Washington D.C. in 1978, then salvaging, storing and cataloging essential punk artifacts at his 98 Bowery loft, which became Gallery 98. Eric Davidson joins Miller on a conversational tour through his amazing career in art.

Born and raised in Cleveland, photographer David Arnoff was dragged by his family to Los Angeles as a teenager. Luckily, he brought a darker “Rust Belt” sensibility to sunny SoCal and began taking shots of the local rock scene before, during and after the punk wave swept through. He may be best known for his shots of the Cramps, but his resume contains remarkable work with a who’s who of everyone cool: Nick Cave, Lydia Lunch, Gun Club, Dream Sydicate, The Damned, The Dead Boys, The Ramones, among others. Eric Davidson, front man of the Ohio-based New Bomb Turks, is equally adept at rocking, rolling and writing. During the 1990s, the Turks were rolling, too, through the clubs of the Midwest, South, West, Northwest and even a few cities in Europe and Japan. They released more than 10 albums and EPs in the 1990s and early 2000s on numerous indie labels.
