Three weeks after a U.S. military jet shot down a balloon believed to be a Chinese spy in the sky, students from Boardman Glenwood Junior High sent off a balloon of their own.
Staff report BOARDMAN — A new outdoor activity at Boardman Glenwood Junior High is open for the public, thanks to teachers getting a grant. Tim Harker, a technology teacher, and science teacher Eric Diefenderfer assembled a team of teachers, administrators and maintenance staff that built the Spartan Disc Golf Course at the school over spring break.
