Brownsville Deputy Fire Chief Cesar Pedraza said the search for a vehicle that reportedly slid off the Jaime J. Zapata Memorial Boat Ramp and into the water was called off for the night.
The Brownsville Fire Department responded to 44299 Highway 48 at approximately noon on Wednesday. BFD deployed two rescue boats in coordination with the Texas DPS marine division. The US Coast guard assisted with a boat and crew.
Pedraza said no signs of a submersed vehicle were found; the search will resume on Thursday.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a YouTuber after he filmed himself at a SpaceX Starship launch site in Texas, according to Cameron County Sheriff Eric Garza.

Cesar L. Galaviz posted a video of himself, to his YouTube channel called LocoVlogs, touring a SpaceX facility in south Texas without consent.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for a YouTuber who got into a SpaceX facility in South Texas.
Caesar L. Galaviz filmed himself walking around the SpaceX launch site and near a Starship rocket.
The sheriff of Cameron County said an arrest warrant has been issued for Galaviz.
Police are looking for a YouTube creator who entered SpaceX s launch site in South Texas and filmed close-up videos of SpaceX s SN11 Starship rocket.
In late March, Caesar L. Galaviz got into the Boca Chica base of Elon Musk s aerospace company without any security stopping him. He filmed himself wandering around the launch site and walking underneath the 16-story prototype Starship. He then uploaded the video to his YouTube channel, Loco VlogS.

An altercation between multiple inmates at the Carrizales Detention Center broke out on Saturday, Cameron County Sheriff Eric Garza said.
A response team was called in to control the disturbance.
No injuries were reported.
A disturbance occurred today at Carrizales Detention Center. An altercation between multiple inmates caused CERT to be activated. Deputies with the Cameron County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man wanted in connection with a 2017 criminal attempted murder investigation that happened in Hidalgo County.
