Grand Caribe Belize was the host of the 2nd Annual Deep Sea Classic Fishing Tournament, where a total of 29 registered boats participated on the three day event from August 10 to the 12. The tournament has quickly become an island favorite due to its $50,000, plus, in cash prizes that includes a $17,000 first prize payout.

For many years rushing to any dock to see the catch of the day has been the biggest attraction on the island. Today the attraction continues as many fishermen gather a crowd in a heart beat with buyers, photographers and more.
