CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County school board approved an academic calendar for the 2021-2022 school year. The board selected Option A which recommends the 2022 spring break the week of April 11 through April 15. The district also added Feb. 18 as an early release day and switched another release day to Sept. 24. The academic year will start on Aug. 18, 2021 and end June 2, 2022.
