The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine in Farmington has announced that scientist Eric Wang has joined the faculty as an assistant professor with the goal of devising new strategies to overcome the development of drug resistance in cancer. Wang earned his Ph.D. at the Sackler Institute of Biomedical Science at New York University and joins the Jackson faculty from a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Omar Abdel-Wahab, director of Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Center for Hematologic Malignancies.
