Winters celebrates NSMS Championship with Shasta win
Scott Winters of Tracy took the lead away from Kylei Keown of Redwood Valley on the ninth lap of the 60 lap main event, and fought off the challenges of Kyle Tellstrom of Ukiah the remaining distance to win his fifth season victory and claim his fourth championship in the North State Modified Series. North State Modified Series final event at Shasta Speedway
Promoters of the North State Modified Series have announced that the Grand Finale’ event at Shasta Speedway on October 14 will be the final race for the NSMS traveling group. Jeff Stephens, Bob Strauss and Nadine Strauss are retiring the NSMS after having 10 successful seasons with the modified drivers at eight different racing facilities.
