Hingham, MA - When you own a house, there s one thing you can count on for sure: Some-thing will need to be repaired or some cost will increase when you least expect it. If it s not property taxes going up, it s the furnace breaking down. If it s not the exterior that needs to be repainted this year, it s the interior that needs to be updated. That s what Mary Ann Buss and her husband, Bill, experienced when they lived in a house in Cape Cod, Mass. Because of that, they decided to move to Linden Ponds, an Erickson Living managed senior living community in Hingham, Massachusetts, where residents enjoy maintenance-free living and predictable expenses, thanks to the affordable monthly service package.

Charles Duggan, a retired accountant, says moving to Ashby Ponds was the best financial decision we’ve made. I am absolutely convinced that moving to Ashby Ponds was the best value for our investment, says Charles Duggan, a retired accountant who serves as chair of the Resident Advisory Council. This is clearly the best financial decision we ve made, and it s turned out to be the best social decision we ve made too.
Charles and his wife Eileen knew that they were interested in a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in the Virginia/Maryland area, so they visited a number of options before they chose Ashby Ponds, an Erickson Living-managed community in Ashburn.

Lindsey Bonaventure and Kimberly Janson host a weekly morning talk show to discuss various goings-on at the community. (Maris Grove)
Online meeting platforms are bringing families and friends together in creative and unexpected ways including a weekly talk show hosted by two sales counselors at Maris Grove, the Erickson Living-managed community in Glen Mills, Pa.
Lindsey Bonaventure and Kimberly Janson got the idea after they held an online event for priority list members last fall. We took our members on virtual tours of available apartment homes, some amenities, and other parts of our beautiful campus, says Bonaventure. The feedback was so positive, Kimberly and I decided to turn it into a weekly talk show on Zoom.
