A 3% tax increase for recreational marijuana is on the ballot in April.
Recreational marijuana has a 6% state tax and could see an additional 3% tax in Columbia if voters choose to pass it in April.
Dispensaries in Columbia had to wait until city council amended city code at its meeting Monday night.
