During warmups and the game, the Orange are laser-focused on the task at hand, and very few things can break that concentration. Maddy Hertweck is the exception, one of those few people who can break the Syracuse lacrosse players out of the zone. When Maddy settled into her spot among other fans in the Dome before a Thursday night game against Boston College, she stopped Asa Goldstock dead in her tracks. The fifth-year goalie jumped up and down, and then picked up a cardboard cutout that had been on the sidelines all season and shook it in the air, pointing and waving to Maddy. ....
