At the beginning of his internship, Gabe Tingle ’26 (West Lafayette, Ohio) was admittedly overwhelmed.“I felt I was consuming too much information too quickly,” said Tingle, who is majoring in Accounting at Marietta College. “I started to become stressed, but the more I worked at my internship, the better it was for me.”
Four students from Marietta College’s Accounting and Public Accounting programs were honored for their academic excellence at the annual Student Recognition Night hosted by the Parkersburg chapter of the West Virginia Society of CPAs.

At OWU, Brooker plans to major in Finance Economics and minor in Accounting. Beginning in the fall, Brooker and the other Latham Scholars will take special classes, receive funds to support an internship, and develop their own entrepreneurial venture as they prepare themselves to become the next generation of business trailblazers.
