Ocean City Maryland’s White Marlin Open (WMO) fishing tournament has long billed itself as the world’s largest and richest saltwater tournament of its kind. This year’s edition marked the event’s 50th anniversary, and with purses reaching a heady $10.4 million dollars, it would prove to be the WMO’s richest ever.
