A former Audrain County family was left devastated over the weekend after their belongings were stolen out of a U-Haul on their move across the country.
After living in mid-Missouri for almost a decade, Jamie and Eugene Bruce left the state to move closer to family, but disaster struck during their journey.
“I just couldn’t believe my eyes,” Eugene Bruce said fighting back tears. “Our whole life was shattered. Everything that we’ve owned, it was all gone.”
