El Paso writers Philip Gabbard, Valentin Sandoval sign books Thursday
Gabbard is the author of two books, “THISday: Words for the Vulnerable and the Venerable” and Thrivation: The Everlasting Philosophy of Providence + Privilege.” Gabbard is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso and a former athlete who played football for the Miners from 1985 to 1989, the news release states.
