A Montgomery man is facing a rape charge after he allegedly had sex with a 15-year-old at a motel.  According to court records, 24-year-old Christopher Gordon was with the teen February 24 between midnight and 11 a.m. at the Executive Inn on Mobile Highway.  Two days later, an arrest warrant was issued for Gordon on a charge of second-degree rape.  Officers arrested Gordon Monday about 10 p.m. Upon his arrest, Gordon was booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility with a $30,000 bond. A 20-year-old man who has turned his back on a number of breaks given him by the justice system to help him deal with his methamphetamine addiction was in Baxter County Circuit Court Monday to appear in the third drug case filed against him since 2018. Kane Gott, Jr., who lists a Gainesville address, was recently arrested after allegedly selling two grams of methamphetamine to a person working with law enforcement for $100.
