A software developer who enabled illegal access to BT Sport and Sky content has been sentenced to two and a half years’ imprisonment.
The Corporal, of Wallingford, Oxfordshire, has been sentenced to 10 months imprisonment, suspended for 18 months. He also received a reduction to his rank. The Corporal, was found to be selling illegal TV and film subscriptions through a Facebook group and via an app which could be loaded onto a ‘Firestick’ media streaming devices, with an accompanying subscription.
