Thrilled Exeter NH Native Actually Invited to NFL Draft How cool is this for Hunter Long of Exeter? Hunter is one of 45 players that were invited to participate in the virtual NFL draft, according to a story from WMUR.  He is a graduate of Exeter High and is one of the best tight ends in the game.  I mean, check this out: Those passes that he received were just fun to watch, weren't they?  I mean, C'MON, MAN!  Could we dream that Hunter would play for the New England Patriots?  I'm sure he's a fan since he grew up here.

CONCORD — Gov. Chris Sununu announced New Hampshire's mask mandate amid the coronavirus pandemic will expire Friday, April 16, and he will not extend it again.  Sununu said Thursday the state will continue to recommend social distancing and "wearing masks where appropriate," adding "that doesn't change." EXETER – After having the better part of their junior and senior years of high school disrupted amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Class of 2021 will be able to lace up their dancing shoes and hold their senior prom in June. The senior prom will be held June 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Exeter High School with a grand march stepping off at 6:30 p.m., EHS science teacher and senior class adviser Liz Morse said. BRENTWOOD — The Brentwood Newsletter remained shuttered this week as townspeople continued to grapple with allegations of racism and the New Hampshire ACLU requested records of all town correspondence regarding the free community publication. Fire chief pushing state for Portsmouth COVID vaccine site PORTSMOUTH — Fire Chief Todd Germain said he is still working to try to get the state to open a COVID-19 vaccination site in the city. “I do know that the state is actively pursuing locations in several communities in our area. They have identified a site in our city and visited that site to see if it’s a viable option, but there hasn’t been any decision made at this point,” Germain told the City Council this week. He also tried to partner with the state on opening a site, but that has not yet been successful.
