Destiny 2âs Season Of The Splicer Is Overhauling How Seasonal Armor Is Earned Grabbing some of the new Tron-like armor in Destiny 2's next season is going to require a little bit of extra effort. Destiny 2's next season, Season of the Splicer, is bringing with it a number of big changes once again. In the latest weekly update from Bungie, the developer revealed a new approach to how seasonal armor will be unlocked, as each piece was previously earned multiple times as a reward whenever certain season ranks were met. Completing specific seasonal activities will now unlock armor pieces, which have a very Tron-like appearance in Season of the Splicer. Guaranteed armor pieces can also be earned from using Focused Umbral Engrams, and the slots on the Seasonal Track that would have normally contained that gear have been replaced with Glimmer, Legendary shards, Upgrade modules, Exotic engrams, Enhancement cores, and Enhancement prism rewards.
