Craftsman chain saw recall For the Craftsman recall, which is model CMECSP610, only chain saws with date codes of 2019-40 through 2020-35 are included. The date code is laser etched on the underside of the handle base. Consumers can get a free repair kit when they contact the company. Craftsman says it has received one report of the "recalled chain saw starting without operation of the switch causing a laceration injury to a consumer."
