1. Piazza Fontana, the Story of a Conspiracy On September 12, 1969, bombs exploded in Milan and Rome. In Milan, at the Farmer's Bank on the Piazza Fontana, the toll was high : 13 dead, some one hundred wounded. This carnage followed a series of 150 acts of terrorism since the beginning of 1969, creating a sense of insecurity throughout the land.
