Feb 26, 2021 During an interview on Wednesday with Clark Judge and Ira Kaufman on The Eye Test for Two podcast, 49ers General Manager John Lynch was asked: “If he is injury-free, is there any doubt in your mind that Jimmy Garoppolo is your quarterback when you line up in September?” Lynch did not hesitate with a response: “No. Not at all. I really believe that.” That response is very similar to the one that Lynch gave when the question was raised during the 49ers end of season press conference back in January. This begs the question: Does keeping Garoppolo make sense for the 49ers?
