this level but eventually we win. a president has to have immunity and the other thing i did nothing wrong. we did nothing wrong. the investigation of the election, which was a rigged election, everybody knows it. they didn't use state legislatures, they went to the f.b.i. and you look at f.b.i. and twitter, the twitter files with the f.b.i. all the horrible things, fisa court, the signed documents, the lying to congress and the stuffing of the ballot boxes, all on tape. stuffing of ballot boxes all on tape. government tape. most of the information, as you know, we will give you some of the findings that just came out. all of that information, as you know, was gotten from mostly government sources, government tapes, government files, and government stats. so it's very sad when something like that happens.

have only been in power for six months. and so they are only really doing now what the d.o.j. failed to do for so many years. i think that's part of the question and part of their investigation is why? why did the d.o.j. and f.b.i. do nothing in the face of these really grave and evidence-studded allegations coming to them from all different sources? it wasn't like they were just coming from enemies of joe biden are allies of donald trump. this preceded donald trump. joe biden, while he was vice president, was allowing his family to leverage his power in these corrupt countries around the world where he had immense power. and he was aware of it. he was meeting these business partners. he was willingly and knowingly allowing himself to be sold. i think what the republicans have is an ability to follow the money trail.

>> bill: republicans think the interview is critical. if it's so important, chad mentioned jim jordan will be there. why aren't you there or james comer who heads that committee? >> well, when there are transcribed interviews with these committees oftentimes it's done with legal counsel from the committee staff or committee staff familiar with more details and records that some of us haven't had access to or seen. having those folks in the room that have all the details are going to be much better. i wish we could be there. i'm very glad to be in south carolina. we've been up and down for ten weeks straight but our legal counsel is leading the effort today. >> dana: do you think it will lead to an impeachment inquiry? >> i do believe that may be a tool in the tool box if we aren't allowed to get all the information. if d.o.j. and f.b.i. stone wall the investigation. that's a tool.

whistleblower claims about mishandling in the investigation. we talked about that. the same month hunter's attorney meets with federal prosecutors and then yesterday that plea deal falls apart in court when the judge said i will not rubber stamp this case. we heard from senator grassley last hour. here is what he had to say about where we are now. >> my job is not to determine whether hunter biden or president biden is guilty of anything, whether they've done anything wrong. that's up to the executive branch and judicial branch. my job is to make sure is the f.b.i. doing their job of investigating properly everything dealing with the bidens. >> bill: that was last hour. jonathan turley law professor back this hour. you have been on tv every hour of the day. it is an extraordinary moment. one thing that strikes me looking back at today, the judge gave him a number of things he

a high appropriations number. he is doing everything he can to avoid the real issues which are how do we deal with spending? we have six different committees looking into president biden and hunter biden at this point. we don't need to start floating the term impeachment when we have such a serious investigation process going on right now. >> jacque: what is your concern about the inquiry? some of your colleagues defended it saying it's the only way to get the documents that we need when we need them. >> we have many witnesses, i.r.s. agents, f.b.i. agents, others who are coming in to testify. these whistleblowers are giving us the kind of information that we need to put together. this isn't the point in time. if there is an inquiry, impeachment inquiry it is something that will happen late this year or early next year.

yesterday after his sweetheart deal with prosecutors fell apart. the dramatic reversal coming after the feds admitted hunter is still under investigation. the whole thing crumbling when the judge expressed concerns over the constitutionality of a plea deal and questions arising about how the d.o.j. could still be investigating hunter while granting him immunity for anything they discover in the future. how did we get here, right? let's go back to october of 2019. that's when the f.b.i. learns about hunter's laptop. two months later the f.b.i. takes possession of it, right? informs the i.r.s. of evidence of tax crimes. a year later you have the 51 intel officials declare the laptop was all russian disinformation. that was also three weeks before a national election. november of 2022 james comer vows to carry out wide-ranging hunter biden probe. april of 2023 now, the

this is december 7, 8, 9, i think. call for one, on the day of the hunter biden interview that was scheduled, federal agents were told to stand by and not to approach hunter biden. they had to wait for his call as a result of the change in plans, i.r.s. and f.b.i. criminal investigators never got to interview him as part of the investigation suggesting they were tipped off and the interview never happened. >> the f.b.i. agent is saying this as well. it was a huge part of the whistleblower testimony. what they said they had planned this day of action for a long time. they had 15 different people they wanted the approach. the reason the i.r.s. and f.b.i. investigators you don't tip them off you don't want to give them a chance to lawyer up. you want to surprise them as it were and get their candid response. instead what happened here is they are claiming that f.b.i. headquarters let hunter and his team know that they were coming the next day and that this potentially gave hunter the opportunity to tell all his

it suggests that we could have yet another round of indictments. >> sandra: we're in the moment where we're looking at the handling of the hunter biden probe and the investigation there and james comer still at it, jim jordan on the ingraham angle last night on that said these two whistleblowers have been nothing but credible, kim. where does all this go next? why are there not more lawmakers taking this seriously? >> here is the important thing about the whistleblowers. they completely corroborate each other. we know they did work together but now we've also heard there is a retired f.b.i. agent come in and corroborated them. so we're having greater numbers of people come out and tell the exact same story about what went wrong in the hunter probe and the idea there was political. >> bill: december of 2020. a transition period, joe biden will be the next president, donald trump is on his way out.

the administration did it anyway. then the second they got the result that they knew they were going to get, what did we hear from radical democrats? telling us how this court is illegitimate. a court that is lawless, it's maga republicans on the court. they are trying to get us to have less hope in our institutions so that we can give them more power so they can turn it into another arm of the democrat party. >> harris: the john durham report showed they have to make changes in terms of how they use the government against citizens. with christopher wray in charge you've got basically f.b.i. agents undercover going into catholic churches looking for extreme views. that's actually -- those things are reality. that memo from the school union that put some pressure on the white house some way to get the d.o.j. and f.b.i. to look at parents as a problem. those things are happening. they are all part of that out of

firing back on the attack on first amendment. >> big government is in bed with social media giants to censor content and viewpoint discrimination. i believe as partisan as things are if the shoe was on the other foot, if the f.b.i. was telling facebook and google and other entities to censor democratic viewpoints we would be saying it's travesty and threat to the first amendment. why aren't they doing the same thing? >> the subcommittee is tackling this in a hearing this week. robert kennedy junior, who you saw on this program poised to be one of their witnesses for the republicans. my next guest sits on that subcommittee. republican congresswoman kat cammack of the great state of florida. congresswoman, first of all your goal with all of this and what's at stake. what are they trying to do to us? >> harris, i'm so glad you are covering this. it is the drama in the courts that is a direct result of biden's imperial presidency.
