For passengers they can probably take a breath. the planes are on the ground. the problem is when they go back in service, ali, do we have the ongoing procedures to find these cracks over the next several years before they re retired. these ones are on the ground but other planes that have plane fatigue, i would be happier as a guy flying several times a week, knowing these planes are getting ultrasounds, but my fare is going to go up, the airline is going to pass that on to me. two things on cost. for passengers to have to go on the web and now check the number of cycles and when the last repair, that doesn t instill confidence. there has to be confidence that these planes can fly. ironically we have budget week in washington, the faa budget has been cut $4 billion. those funds, some of which go to the aviation safety inspectors, i would imagine, that most people on that flight that had that terrifying experience, if you would ask them would you support fully funding the faa for i ....
