A Kenyan judge on Thursday found Facebook's parent company Meta was not in contempt of court for failing to pay dozens of content moderators that a contractor laid off.
The Labour Court in Kenya prohibited Meta or its agents from terminating employment contracts of its content moderators
The Employment Court of Kenya has made several demands of Facebook-owner Meta in regards to its content moderators in the country.
Meta told to put redundancies by its former agent Samasource Kenya on hold until case by content moderators is determined.
Court also upholds interim order suspending the decision to fire the subcontractors known as Sama.
