New traffic signals set to launch at Routes 286 and 380 in Murrysville
Temporary traffic signals are being installed where Route 380 and Golden Mile Highway meet, but the permanent improvements proposed for the intersection have a Murrysville family upset. A 29-year-old man was booked Tuesday into Carson City Jail on a felony contempt of court warrant after he failed to appear in court for sentencing on a felony charge of attempting to escape from prison, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.

Carson City emergency crews respond to US-50 East crashes
Traffic was slow going in Carson City along Highway 50 East following two crashes Tuesday, according to Nevada State Police. There was a crash reported at around 3:50 p.m. on US-50 East and Nye Lane. There was a second crash at 5:18 p.m. reportedly near US-50 and Brown Street. Injuries are unknown at this time. Motorists can expect delays.
