KUWAIT CITY, April 8: Dr. Nasser Al-Otaibi, Treasurer of the National Union of Kuwaiti Students (NUKS) – Egypt, says the Cabinet’s recent decision regarding the commitment of airlines to board only 35 passengers obstructs the movement of Kuwaiti students in the Arab Republic of Egypt, especially since there is no direct flight to return to Kuwait, reports Aljarida daily.
In a press statement, Dr. Al-Otaibi indicated that there are many students who wish to return to Kuwait, but the Cabinet’s recent decisions have brought about an unknown fate for them. He said he wished the Cabinet would reconsider the decision and open a direct line between Egypt and Kuwait, because the least transit time for the students during their return to Kuwait is three hours.
