Randy Farnsworth is fired up about electric vehicles for good reason. Owner of Farnsworth Auto Group, Farnsworth carries on a family tradition of selling Chevrolets since before the Great Depression. He sees what’s coming down the pike.
“The technology is moving fast,” said Farnsworth, president of the Farnsworth Chevrolet dealership and Randall Buick GMC Cadillac in Canandaigua. He said that while demand for electric vehicles has been centered around the luxury market, it is now evolving into general acceptance of EVs. 
A new Chevy Bolt EV was about to arrive at the Farnsworth showroom at 2350 Rochester Road. On order are four new GMC Hummer EVs, dubbed the world’s first all-electric supertruck, which Farnsworth expects to receive later this year. ....
