POLICE conducting speed checks in Bolton and Wigan yesterday caught a driver travelling at over twice the speed limit on a 30mph road. On Thursday officers were checking drivers' speeds and recorded a speed of one car as 77mph along the 30mph road. The name of the road has not been disclosed but police said the speed was incredibly dangerous.
