FAUG (Fearless and United Guards) was finally launched after months of speculation on Republic Day 2021. The first episode was finally available on Google Play Store and within 24 hours, there have been close to three lakh downloads. There have been plenty of five-star ratings but there have also been many one-star ratings of the first episode in FAUG. The reviews of the game also stated that there was a need for additional graphics and also improvement in the game presentation as well. While many of the users gave five-star ratings to the game, they stressed several themes like additional graphics, fewer features, glitches in maps and other aspects of the game. However, there was support for the game as well with some users stating that this was only the first step in FAUG and that later updates would be much better.

FAU-G, the much-awaited game will finally release on January 26, Republic Day in India. On January 3, the makers of the game announced the launch date, and also released a theatrical trailer of the game which shows little of what gamers will be playing in the game.
FAU-G features a single-player campaign mode which makes it different from PUBG. According to recent rumours and reports, FAU-G will have a Galwan Valley episode where players can explore the area and also use melee brawling techniques instead of guns.

Vishal Gondal and bollywood actor Akshay Kumar also took to their Twitter handle to announce the launch date of FAU-G game, the so called rival of infamous PUBG Mobile, which is currently banned in the country due to privacy and security reasons.
