Remarkable. what he s really challenging congress to do is take him to court and litigate whether he has to show up. congress has decided i should say the house has decided, it seems logical, that they don t have the time and they re not inclined to do it. and so they re simply going to keep rolling with those who will show up. and they will perhaps use the this obstructist behavior, this intransigen intransigence, as an element of their impeachment proceedings. should he go? absolutely, we ought to hear from him. there s an irony here, you can t complain about hearsay being adduced at the impeachment inquiry, brian, and then be the person not showing up to provide the direct evidence that they purportedly want, right? you can t have it both ways. you ought to go and tell the house what you know. i think that s a duty. a glaring irony indeed. i want to read you something from the washington post. as republicans argue that most of the testimony against trump is based on faulty s ....

This obstructionist behavior has an element of their impeachment proceedings. should he go? absolutely. we ought to hear from him. by the way, there s an irony herement you can t complain about hearsay being adduced at the impeachment inquiry and then be the person not showing up to provide the direct evidence that they purportedly want. you can t have it both ways. you ought to go and tell the house what you know. i glaring irony indeed. i want to read you something from the washington post. as republicans argue that most of the testimony against trump is based on faulty secondhand information, they are sowing doubts about whether sondland, giuliani, and mulvaney were actually representing the president or freelancing to pursue their own agendas. the gop is effectively offering up these three to be fall guys. now, chuck, this would hardly be the first white house to kind of construct you ll forgive the phrase a wall around the president and try to make ....

Acting chief of staff, mick mulvaney. quote, as republicans argue that most of the testimony against trump is based on faulty second-hand information, they are sowing doubts whether they were actually representing the president or freelancing to pursue their own agendas: the gop is effectively offering up the three to be the fall guys. philippe, i mean, when you look at some of the others that have been connected to the president and talk with them, oh, you might need a pass to a federal prison if you want to talk to magnificent, his campaign manager or michael cohen, who was his lawyer/fixer, like his son. if i was one of the three, i would not be too comfortable as being someone that they are now saying, oh, they may have been doing this on their own agenda, had nothing to do with the president. it s like the only one they want ....

post reports today. it said all three occupy a special place in the ukraine narrative. as republicans argue that most of the testimony against trump is based on faulty second-hand information, they are sowing doubts about the three, whether sondland, giuliani, and mulvaney were actually representing the president or freelancing to pursue their own agendas. the gop is effectively offering up the three to be fall guys. these guys are basically as close to the president on this issue as you can get. one is the acting chief of staff of the president of the united states. what do you make of this republican strategy? i think there is a very fine line here between saying that these people were pursuing their own agendas with regard to ukraine and saying that maybe there was some big misunderstanding here. i think that maybe the latter is a more attractive strategy here. it was the underpinnings of what gordon sondland said in his clarified testimony basically that this was his presumpt ....

Nothing actually happened the aid was ultimately released. right. so it s been a mixture from the very beginning and we ve seen a little bit of a different approach in the senate than we have seen in the house. and the senate from the beginning they have talked about being uncomfortable about what the president did. and they said, you know, i wouldn t have done it, one republican senator i spoke to said i wouldn t have done things that way. some conceded that it was a bit unseemly. but they ve been pretty unanimous from the beginning that they didn t believe that it rose to the level of impeachment or ultimately was that big of a deal. it was sort of a, hey, trump does this all the time. he doesn t always know what he s doing. maybe he does know what he s doing. but he s just not a normal politician. and that would make it to me not very surprising if they decided to just throw their hands up and say, sure, a quid pro quo, why not, it s not impeachable, that s just how trump does bus ....
