It was 35 years ago today -- June 19th, 1988 -- that Jimmy Page released his first mainstream solo album, Outrider. After Led Zeppelin's 1980 split, Page composed and recorded the soundtrack to 1982's Death Wish II, collaborated with Roy Harper on the 1985 Whatever Happened To Jugula? collection and recorded a pair of albums with Paul Rodgers as part of the Firm -- the band's 1985's self-titled debut and its 1986 followup, Mean Business.
