The streets undergoing the conversion include Howard and Buxton streets from West Kentucky Avenue on the city s north side to Highway 92 just south of the Square. The change also includes all four sides of the Square, including West Salem and West Ashland avenues. ....

With 100% of precincts reporting Pamela Pepper has 45.8% of the votes, Stephanie Erickson has 45.3% and Michelle Fetters Steen has 8.8% of the votes in the Indianola mayoral special election on Tuesday. The uncertified raw vote count is 678 votes for Pepper, 670 votes for Erickson, 130 votes for Steen and one write in vote, according to the county auditor s office. These results are unofficial until certified by the Warren County Board of Supervisors at its meeting next week. Warren County Auditor Traci VanderLinden said seven absentee votes are outstanding and could still be counted if they are received with a postmarked date of March 1. ....
The unofficial results are in for the special election for Indianola mayor, with a current margin of eight votes electing Pam Pepper to continue filling the position after being appointed by the council in October. Over 1,400 votes were cast in the election for three candidates: Pam Pepper – 678 Michelle Fetters Steen – 130 The vote totals include over 1,000 voters voting in-person Tuesday (1,116), as well as 363 absentee ballots received by the Warren County Auditor’s Office. The results are unofficial, and absentee ballots are valid if postmarked by March 1st. ....
