Washington, Feb. 7 (CNA) The United States government announced on Monday that it has approved the sale to Taiwan of equipment and services aimed at improving the island's missile defense system for an estimated cost of US$100 million.
Taipei, Feb. 8 (CNA) Taiwan has thanked the United States after the Department of State approved the possible sale of equipment and services to Taiwan in support of its Patriot missiles program, a deal expected to be worth US$100 million.
