The charity’s chairman said some members didn’t like the ‘political side’ of Mr Packham’s activities
Chris Packham has been removed as patron of a bird charity because he was becoming too “political”.
Mr Packham, 62, had sued Fieldsports Channel Ltd, and Andrew O'Rourke, after an article said he had 'dishonestly claimed' that the letter had been 'sent to him by an anonymous third party', a court heard.
Naturalist and television presenter Chris Packham has been paid “substantial” damages after being accused of writing a “death threat letter to himself” in an article published on a website, a High Court judge has heard.
Growing up, the outspoken TV presenter became obsessed with animals as he struggled to navigate a world in which he felt he didn’t fit. The naturalist talks about being autistic, death threats and what he thinks a younger Attenborough would be doing about the climate crisis
