Tributes paid to headteacher and DLI historian who has died aged 91
A VILLAGE headmaster who became the historian of the Durham Light Infantry has died only a month after his wife of 66 years passed away. Harry Moses was headmaster at Aycliffe Village School for 23 years until his retirement in 1993, and his funeral cortege will pass the schoolgates so that people can pay their respects.
