Rajya sabha leaders criminal cases: About 36% Rajya Sabha candidates declared criminal cases against themselves: ADR
The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and National Election Watch have found that 36% of Rajya Sabha candidates have declared criminal cases against themselves, with the average assets of candidates analysed standing at Rs 127.81 crore. The analysis also found that 17% of these individuals face serious criminal charges, with one candidate having cases related to attempted murder.
