8-Year-Old Boy Gets Accidentally Vaccinated For COVID-19 | REAL 92.3

An 8-year-old boy in Dallas was vaccinated at a drive-thru site in what authorities there are calling an “oversight” and “human error.”
The boy’s father said he did not know that his child wasn’t eligible. He said he was able to register his son and got an appointment.
The father realized the mistake after talking to his pediatrician, Dr. Marcial Oquendo. Dr. Oquendo said the father was under the assumption that if he submitted his information and got an appointment that everything was good to go.
Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins said “there was human error, and that list was moved over to get the people who were under 50 onto the eligible list. They failed to scrub for people who were under 18. We’ve got our IT department working with the third-party company to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.” ....

A small passenger plane crashed shortly after takeoff near Dallas Monday afternoon, killing two people on board.
The plane took off from Grand Prairie Municipal Airport around 2:45 p.m. and crashed just minutes later onto S. Highway 360, according to the Grand Prairie Fire Department.
In a cascading effect, the plane hit a utility pole near a service road, then hit the ground and then a pickup truck, Fire Chief Robert Fite told reporters. The plane eventually landed next to a Sonic parking lot, where it caught fire. ....
