Two in the deep south, but the fire is still burning in the south, too. thing about the firefighters still out there, still over 1,000 of them in the southern appalachians fighting in the wilderness, so for today, it's a pretty calm weather map. we will see rain through much of texas, dallas, not through this evening. very chilly, but the afternoon looks okay. into saturday, rain begins to spread. rainstorm starting in texas and oklahoma today, tomorrow, and spreading on sunday and monday through the southeast. the northern half of the country remains kind of quiet. here's the latest fire map....
