RI Fire Departments Get $2.1M Boost for Safety, Training, Operations

WARWICK, RI – Half a dozen local fire departments and the state’s Fire Training Academy are getting a $2.1 million boost from the federal government to help strengthen firefighter operations and safety and offer new, intensive training classes.
