CHATHAM- Boy Scouts of America Troop 280 in Chatham, a growing troop of 27 girls, is helping the community ring in the new year by holding its second annual First Day Walk for open space on New Yearâs Day, Jan. 1. The walk will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The 2.5-mile walk starts and finishes at the Loantaka Way parking lot in Chatham (195-215 Loantaka Way, Madison), the entrance to Loantaka Brook Reservation.
