PETALING JAYA: Malaysia is in the top five among Asean countries in terms of the percentage of people who have received at least their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, as of June 2. According to the Our World in Data website, 6.48% of the population in Malaysia have received at least the first dose. This is followed by Indonesia at 6.13%. In the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam, the number of people who have received at least the first dose is still below 4%.
