M'sia among top five Asean nations in first dose percentage


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia is in the top five among Asean countries in terms of the percentage of people who have received at least their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, as of June 2.
According to the Our World in Data website, 6.48% of the population in Malaysia have received at least the first dose.
This is followed by Indonesia at 6.13%.
In the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam, the number of people who have received at least the first dose is still below 4%.
The site noted that Singapore is top at 38.99% as of June 2, followed by Cambodia (15.94% as of June 2), Brunei (9.52% as of May 29) and Laos (9.14% as of June 1). ....
