THE Five Valleys shopping centre's newest market vendor, The Vine Shop, is now open.

THE skies over Stroud will once again be ablaze with colour to help raise funds for dozens of good causes.

July kicked off with a BANG! I'm not talking about neighborhood fireworks. I'm talking about the angry thunderstorm that swept through the Five Valleys yesterday. The heatwave we experienced this past week dried up what little moisture we had left in the mountains. The river levels dropped sensationally. In short, the weather created kindling.

EMERGENCY services attended an incident at the Five Valleys multi storey car park last night. Merrywalks (the street) and the roads leading to it, including Rowcroft Retreat and Bath Street, were closed off and police-taped due to a 'serious incident' at around 9pm. On Saturday, an array of specialist gins will be showcased in the centre’s market area. Shoppers will be invited to try tasters of different varieties from Armadeli and Phoenix Wines, as well as purchasing drinks to take home or to enjoy in the market’s seating area or in Armadeli.
