Most high-population counties are still adding residents — but more slowly.

The Montana Supreme Court will have the ultimate say if whether Gianforte’s veto of the broadly supported bill that redistributes the state’s marijuana revenue to send more toward county roads and a legacy conservation program was done properly, since the state has filed a notice of an appeal of a Lewis and Clark County District Court decision.

Despite the wintery conditions and snowfall over the last few days, temperatures have been warming up and creating unsafe ice conditions.

As the Flathead County teen services librarian, her efforts are already proving successful — with the revamping of the Teen Zone at the Kalispell branch, new programming and an up-to-date collection, she said more teens are already coming into the library.

Known as Tronstad Meadows and Whitetail Crossing, the proposed neighborhoods near the intersection of U.S. 93 and Tronstad Road are expected to see about 380 single-family homes go up on roughly 110 acres of land.
