WOOSTER The community center will start to welcome back more of its clientele over the next month as limited programming returns. The Wooster Community Center reopened its fitness center and began offering tax aid services on Feb. 1. It will resume offering some of its fitness programming as well as allowing games of billiards, table tennis, and bingo on March 1. Congregate card and game groups will not be permitted at this time. The community lounge and public restrooms will not be open for use on a walk-in basis. Restroom use will be limited to patrons using the facility for programming....
Art kit project helps spread the joy of art Staff Report WOOSTER - This December, Wayne Center for the Arts, Local Roots and local artist Carli Moorefield are working together to bring art to kids in Wayne County, according to a news release from the WCA. From now until Dec. 23, proceeds from sales of Wayne Center for the Arts ornaments, handcrafted by Moorefield, will be used to purchase art kits for families in need.
