The panel we have today is the panel on command module landing and recovery operations. They always say the job is not over until the paperwork is finished. The job is not over until the spacecraft is floating in the Pacific Ocean and the astronauts are successfully retrieved. We have with us four heroes of that era, people i looked up to and admired as a 14yearold watching on television back in 1969, and i wished i could be with them in the Pacific Ocean helping to retrieve those astronauts.
