North Carolina man charged in fatal road rage shooting of Pennsylvania mother
Investigators said Ryan Eberly passed close to Floyd's Chevrolet Malibu while making a lane change. Moments later, Floyd allegedly drove by and fired several rounds at the couple's GMC Yukon, striking Eberly through the passenger side door. The Malibu fled the scene, taking Exit 22 into Lumberton. Eberly pulled over and called for medical assistance, but his wife later died at UNC Southeastern hospital. A manhunt to find Floyd and his vehicle spanned a week before an arrest was made.
